The cooler weather we’ve had the past few days made me have a craving for Chili.  I started cooking chili when I was a teenager. My recipe has been tweaked a few times through the years, but my family seems to enjoy it!


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 tbsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tspn garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce (adjust to taste)

Brown ground beef with minced onion and drain. Add canned foods and add spices last. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer til you’re ready to eat! Hope you enjoy!
